It allows customers to make phone calls to external phone numbers and receive phone calls to their own work phone numbers, all directly from their Microsoft Teams user interfaces.

In July, the AIM-listed company said it had since won 15 direct cloud telephony customers, built a pipeline of direct sales opportunities with an annual contract value of £58 million and developed a strong negotiation pipeline with potential strategic alliance partners for indirect sales and distribution. Under the terms of the agreement, the new partner will resell LoopUp’s Cloud Telephony solution on a white label basis to its business customer base, which covers more than 20 national markets.

It also extends the geographic coverage of LoopUp’s services for its own direct multinational customers, who are looking to consolidate their global telephony into a single, cohesively managed implementation through a single vendor on a single platform.

The group will be a fully licensed and regulated telephony provider in approximately 60 countries by the first quarter of 2022, and this strategic alliance will extend its reach of providing compliant services to approximately 80 countries during this period, which, according to the group, will represent the market leader. blanket.

Further details of the alliance will be announced closer to the launch of the service, which is expected to take place in the first half of 2022.

“We are delighted to announce our first strategic cloud telephony sales and distribution alliance with a leading player in the telecommunications market,” commented Chief Executive Officer Steve Flavell.

“We believe that such alliances represent a highly scalable and valuable market entry route for the group. Both the partner and we are seeing clear customer demand for Microsoft Teams telephony in their markets, and we look forward to working alongside their team to help meet that demand.”
